Event Horizon is a project of Kamila Ženatá. She initiated a living process – an experiment whose objective is to report on the internal events that create one’s mental reality in the liquid time of globalized consumerism.
The finale is the culmination of the entire project, to which Kamila Ženatá also invited other artists: Daniela Baráčková, Šárka Basjuk Koudelová, Jakub Grosz, Lenka Janušková, Lenka Lagronová, Milan Ohnisko, Michal Pěchouček, Janek Rous, Jiří Vyskočil, and Kateřina Závodová.
Video The Bride was created on the basis of Kamila Ženatá scenario Dream Flames and in collaboration with Shota Tsikoliya, who in his work deals with a topic of emergence.
In dreams, local irritations of individual cells or neurons create a complex and meaningful image with many levels, including feelings of fear or joy. Similarly, in the Turing pattern, local pixel interactions based on simple and repeating rules form original, non-repeating patterns. Real-world records are modified with the rules of reaction – diffusion that distorts them to an unexpected abstract form.
